Mrs Catherine Kangethe
Chairperson
I am Mrs Catherine Kangethe a retired officer of the Central Bank of Kenya where I served as a Senior Bank Officer from 1982 – 2021. I achieved a wide knowledge in the Banking Industry; and I am therefore well versed in cash handling, processing of transactions and good analytical skills. I have a vast experience in customer care service and problem solving
issues.
During my tenure in the bank, I served as a Chairperson in the CBK Staff Representative Committee where I had to also manage
♦️ a voluminous CBK Staff Benevolent Fund
♦️ and a vibrant CBK Charity Fund
amongst other Staff Welfare Matters.
I have also served also as a
▪️ Board Member in the Banki Kuu SACCO
▪️PTA member at Aquinas High School
▪️ PPC Member at my local Parish – Divine Word Kayole Catholic Church
▪️ Board Member in the Divine Word Catholic Church Self Help Group
It was while serving at the CBK Charity Fund when I met the Director of Ethel Foundation.
I have a passion to serve the needy and the vulnerable in the community, in whichever capacity, with an aim of improving lives.
